Ideal for a wide range of construction applications where longevity is required, Torpedo Tanks have a minimum 50 year design life, so rugged they can be used even in trafficable areas.
MANUFACTURED TO EXACTING STANDARDS
Built in accordance with AS2634 standards and manufactured under ISO 9001 Certification, Torpedo Tanks use a cylindrical fibreglass design that can be custom sized from 1,000 litres, to a massive 430,000 litres in a single tank. Inlets, outlets and manholes can also be custom sized and positioned in any location on along the tank. AKS also carries ISO certification for 14001 Environmental Management and 45001 for OH&S Management.

Torpedo Tanks are available in a huge range of standard sizes, so you can usually find the capacity and dimensions you need for your project. However, we can also custom manufacture extra-large tank sizes for you, up to 430,000 litres in capacity. Torpedo Tanks can be used for both typical below ground storage or pressurised applications, but they can also be used for above ground applications.

MORE THAN JUST WATER STORAGE
While Torpedo Tanks provide the ultimate water storage solution they can also be used for chemicals, being built to the same standard as underground petroleum storage vessels, and using corrosion resistant fibreglass construction. As a result Torpedo Tanks have become hugely popular with architects, consultants and installers because of their practical design, customisable sizing and ease of installation.
